Airport Terminal Maps

One of my favorite things to do is plan visits to airports with military-like precision. This task is aided greatly by fantastic interactive maps built by a company called LocusLabs. These maps were initially rolled out a few years ago in many airline and airport mobile apps. The Delta, American and United apps all feature their hubs or major focus cities. More recently they found their way into desktop versions of websites. I prefer these as it can be tiring to stare at a phone for too long. The detail the offer is incredible. Step by step Google Maps style directions are also offered between any two points in an airport.

The online wayfinding maps I have located are listed below. A number of the desktop maps are from the Delta website who has one of the most comprehensive listings. There are also columns which indicate which mobile app you can locate the maps in.

Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find online maps for every major airport but I’m always on the lookout for them. Southwest bases of MDW, HOU and BWI are examples that I can’t find on any interactive maps of, either on mobile apps or online anywhere.
