The next location of The Club lounges will open in Buffalo on September 24, 2019. The Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF) confirmed via their Facebook page that The Club at BUF will open for business at 4AM next Tuesday. This is technically only two days past the “Late Summer 2019” opening date touted on airport signage. The Club will be located between Gate 6 and the security checkpoint.
Several renderings were released at the time the lounge was announced and it looks to be on par with most The Club locations with comfortable seating, ample food options and a staffed bar. Travelers can pay a typical $40 fee to get into their lounge. Since paying that much to visit a lounge once is not a desirable option, we can assume the vast majority of patrons will access the lounge with their Priority Pass memberships. This popular program is included with many popular credit cards like the Chase Sapphire Reserve or Amex Platinum.
This common use lounge is a welcome addition to Buffalo-Niagara which was ranked #1 by JD Power for customer satisfaction in the medium size airport category. BUF has always been a pleasurable airport to fly out of with non-stops to most key hubs in the eastern half of the US along with several trans-continental routes. It was also small enough that security was never a hassle, especially through the TSA Precheck line.
The Club Locations
Including this new addition to BUF, The Club lounges boast 18 locations at 15 different airpots in the continental US. With easy access via Priority Pass, The Club offers a solid lounge options in many large and medium size airports. In addition to the lounges below, a second location is planned to open in San Jose (SJC) and an offering is slated to open in the new terminal at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) soon.
