It’s no trip to Tahiti but every once in awhile it’s nice to spend a marginal amount of points on a daddy/daughter weekend. Last weekend’s dadveture was to DC & Baltimore with visits to the Air & Space Museum and the National Aquarium. We also met up with a good friend and old friends along with their little ones. All in all a very fun but exhausting weekend. We can’t wait to do one again.

Delta BUF-DTW-DCA: 9,500 Skymiles+$153 (using $150 in Delta gift cards)
Originally booked BUF-LGA-DCA but the weather in the NY area caused us to divert to DTW. Even though it was out of the way it worked out better in the end by avoiding a 3+ hour delay.

Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace: 35,000 Marriott Points. Awesome location in the Inner Harbor just a 3 minute walk from the aquarium
Southwest BWI-BUF: 14,336 Rapid Reward points total for two one-way. Much LUV for Southwest.
